CRPF OFFICER AND BHOPAL IAS FOUND CORONA POSITIVE, DG AP MAHESHWARI QUARANTINED

Two days after the Chief Medical Officer of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) was found to be Corona positive, CRPF Director General A.P. Maheshwari has gone to quarantine himself, taking precautionary steps. He would keep himself quarantined for 14 days. Officials have given information about this.


The official said that though DG Direct did not come in contact with the CMO  but a person meeting the DG had already met that Corona-infected Chief Medical Officer. For this reason, in terms of protocol and security, the CRPF DG decided to quarantine himself.

"Reports of covid-19 are negative but the DG was in direct contact with the officer for whom the reports were positive and so under protocol, the DG has moved to quarantine," said DIG Dinakaran (spokesperson). The CRPF CMO, who was living in the officers' mess in Saket, Delhi, was found to be Corona positive on Thursday. Nearly 40 soldiers who came in contact with the CMO have been asked to go to quarantine.

However, it has not been clear how doctors have been infected with covid-19. Another official told the news agency that the chief of the country's largest paramilitary force is in Quarantine under the guidelines but is in constant touch with its officials in various operational matters, including the fight against Corona virus infection.

According to the information, the Chief Medical Officer infected with Corona virus is currently posted as Additional Director General (Medical) of the Central Armed Police Force. The Chief Medical Officer was attached to the Additional Director General (Medical) Office of CRPF, also called Paramilitary Force. The ADJ Medical Office assists the Ministry of Home Office and overseas and monitors the services of the Health Care Delivery System of the Paramilitary Forces.



  • IAS officer found covid19 positive in Bhopal

On the other hand, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer posted in the wing of a health department in Bhopal on Friday reported the corona virus investigation report positive. Authorities said he was admitted to the hospital. Some officers were included in the swab test report, including some IAS officers, who have been identified immediately. Everybody has quarantined themselves.

According to departmental officials, the IAS officer had participated in several meetings in his department in which some top officials also attended. However, three were away from meetings for four days. Madhya Pradesh Health Services Commissioner Faiz Ahmed said that the officer whose report has come is hospitalized. However, another specimen has been sent for examination and the reports are awaited. The commissioner said that all those who came in contact with the officer are taking precautions.

Another officer, on the condition of anonymity, said that the IAS officers were not feeling well for the last three to four days, after which they kept themselves quarantined and stayed away from the meetings.

Everyone is being advised to take precautions . Officials are discussing ways to ensure that the work of the Health Department is not affected by it.
